As some of you may know, my life has been like a whirlwind the last few months. That is the only excuse I have for not being able to spend time updating my blog. But here I am at 12:43 a.m. trying to give you an idea of whats been going on in my life.

In the month of July I had to have surgery which put me down for a few days, but thank you Jesus I am doing much better with that issue. A week after my surgery on July 27, my Dad went to Heaven after fighting Liver cancer for almost 2 years. I am so thankful for every opportunity that I had to take him to the doctor or to go and spend time with him, even tho for the last 7 months he only recognized who I was 1 time. It was very hard to look at someone who had been in my life for 46 years and him not recognize me. It has been a process trying to work through the feelings of grief and sadness knowing he is not here, but at the same time there has been a great joy in knowing that because he lived a saved life that I will see him again. And, now he is no longer in pain but healed from the disease that took his life.

On August 8, Pastor Jeff, me, Toby and Sherry Edmondson went on a mission trip to the Philippines. I really would like to call it an adventure. We were there for a 3 night crusade in the city of Tagum. Thousands of people gathered in and around the trade center as the worship begin. The hunger for God was so incredible. Their love for God was contagious. We fell in love with the Philippine people. Over 700 souls were added to the kingdom of God. We are still hearing reports of the miracles that are still taking place in the people. They don't have alot but if you ask them they have everything they need. It was such an awesome experience to be around such love and humility. We believe that this is just the beginning for the Philippines. We will be going back hopefully next year. I would like to say thank you to Jerry and Sara Cash, Missionaries in the Philippines, for taking such good care of us while we were there. And I would like to thank all of our FLWC family that contributed to the trip in any way. The slideshow is just a few pictures that was taken. I hope you enjoy.
